A new home for the San Diego
Zoo's two gharials, an endangered, needle-nosed crocodile native to the
rivers of the Indian subcontinent. The project included a
55,000-gallon, 7-foot deep-water pool that's filtered and heated; two
sandy beaches, lush vegetation; and a palm garden. |
