The indoor firing range at Naval Station Everett consisted of a five lane qualification course for active duty sailors, as well as a practical course for training of the case security personnel. Each land had four target stops and utilized Caswell clean flow Bastion shooting separators with one way communication system and stereo ear protectors. The target retrieval system was a Caswell model CAB electrically operated trolley wire type system. The back stop system was a Caswell LE5B bullet trap. The ceiling protection system was a modified air space also manufactured by Caswell International. The facility also included a shower and locker room for the instructors, and administrative office area, a weapons cleaning area and a secure storage vault including a class 5 vault door. In order to satisfy the regional Air Pollution Control District the building had a HEPA filtered system.
