CalFed Fletcher Hills




A 4,500 square foot, single-story plus basement savings and loan branch including teller counters, vault, new accounts and loan department. The first floor of the building is an open glass box where only the vault has solid walls. The project included a rigid structural steel frame, glu-lam beams, plywood decking with glu-lam perimeter architectural fascia. The project incorporated extensive interior and exterior landscaping which became an integral part of the design solution. The project won an American Institute of Architects Honor Award as well as a Masonry Institute Honor Award.
